High School Students

At AIB, we help make the transition from high school to college an easy one – and a fast one. It's here that you will benefit from personal, one-on-one learning, and exceptional scholarship and financial aid options.

Start out in one of our many two-year Associate's degrees, and go just one additional year to earn your Bachelor's. That means in just three years, you can graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Court Reporting. And our flexible courses give you the ability to attend classes during the day, in the evening and online – whatever fits your schedule.

Work on campus, walk to Grey's Lake, bike downtown, and enjoy every cultural, educational and entertaining activity our city and school have to offer.

Admission Requirements

Prospective students interested in applying for admission to AIB will need to submit an application and other required documentation. Students may apply online or request an application from the AIB Admissions Office.

  • Submit an application to the AIB Admissions Office. High school students may submit an application upon completing their junior year in high school. Acceptances will begin September 15 prior to the next fall term start.
  • Submit an official copy of your high school transcript or its equivalent (GED) to AIB. If submitted prior to completion of high school coursework, final transcripts must be received upon high school graduation.
  • A composite ACT test score of 18 or higher OR completion of AIB's entrance exam is required. You may have your ACT scores sent to AIB when you take the test by requesting AIB's code number, 1267. ACT scores may also be included on your high school transcript. If you do not have a minimum 18 ACT composite, or have not taken the ACT, you are required to take the AIB entrance exam. The SAT test may also be taken. The SAT scores will be converted to the ACT equivalent. AIB's SAT code number is 7302.

Orientation

New students are notified by mail of their scheduled orientation date. During orientation, students are given their class schedules; receive their financial aid information; pay for their tuition, books, and supplies; and may meet their roommates.
