It is AIB's mission to uphold college policies, protect property on campus and maintain a safe environment for students, employees and visitors. We ensure this by having a Safety Management Services staff on campus. It is the responsibility of each member of the College to report the occurrence of a known crime to the Safety Management Services Office. And students are encouraged to be conscious of their own safety and security and to report unsafe conditions. But safety is the responsibility of every member of this community, and we encourage the involvement of all campus members in keeping AIB a safe and secure environment for education.
Safety and Crime Prevention Programs
The AIB Safety Management Services staff presents safety awareness and crime prevention programs each year during orientation and special events. Safety awareness and crime prevention programming is also a part of new employee orientation, in cooperation with the Human Resources Office.
